Runyon Canyon Park
A 160-acre dog-friendly city park in Los Angeles, California, Runyon Canyon Park is close to Hollywood and the Hollywood Hills. There are many hiking routes in the park, which include a 90-acre off-leash dog park. Fido does not require a leash, but owners are still required to pick up after their animals. There are baggie stations spread out over the area.

The Hollywood Sign is accessible from a number of paths in Griffith Park, and one of those routes is Hollyridge Trail. Take your favourite four-legged buddy on a 3.5-mile hike to Mount Lee’s summit for stunning views of the sign and the nearby metropolis.
Mount Hollywood Trail at Griffith Park
Griffith Park’s Mount Hollywood Trail is a short, three-mile climb that takes about 1.5 hours to complete with Fido. The city owns this portion of the mountain, which affords what may be the greatest views of the Hollywood sign and the Los Angeles basin. As you gaze across at the San Gabriels or out towards the beach, you will also appreciate the surrounding surroundings. Just remember to clean up any pet accidents and to keep Fido on a leash throughout the trek. You can park at the Griffith Observatory or the Ferndell Trail in Los Feliz to access the route.
Arts District Dog Park
Small, private, non-profit Arts District Dog Park has separate spaces for little or timid dogs. Community members who donate their time manage the park.
Lower Canyonback Trail
Take Fido for a couple of hours on this 4.2-mile journey, where you’ll summit Canyonback Ridge and take in stunning views of west Los Angeles, Santa Monica Bay, the Santa Monica Mountains, and the Getty Museum.
Echo Park Lake
On the pet-friendly trails encircling Echo Park Lake in East Los Angeles, California, dogs on leashes are welcome. Pedal boats and picnic tables are also present at the park.
Sullivan Canyon Trail

Kenneth Hahn State Recreation Area
Dogs are welcome in Kenneth Hahn State Recreation Area in Los Angeles, California. On the five kilometres of pathways in the park, Fido can accompany you. In addition, there are lawns and landscaped spaces, picnic places, playgrounds, a fishing lake, and a lotus pond at the recreation area. As long as the dog is on a leash that is no more than 6 feet in length and is completely under the owner’s control, dogs are allowed in County parks and on trails.
